St. Michael’s Parish Primary School North Melbourne, through funding from the local chapter of St. Vincent de Paul, has established a Breakfast Club to ensure that students who attend St. Michaels’ have a healthy and nutritious start to the school day. Students from St. Aloysius College have been invited to assist in the running of this program during Term 3 and will continue to do so in Term 4.

The Breakfast Club operates each Wednesday morning from 8am until 8.30am, and small groups of Year 10, 11 and 12 students from St. Aloysius, accompanied by staff from the College, have enthusiastically embraced the opportunity to be involved, putting into practice the Mercy values of service and hospitality.

Our students have received as much out of this venture as the students from St. Michael’s primary school. Staff from St. Michael’s have commented on the cheerful disposition of our students and their eager willingness to be involved.
