Welcome back to Term 3. I trust the Term break was an opportunity for rest, reflection and time with loved ones.
A very warm welcome to the new students and families who have joined our community this term. We are delighted to have you with us and look forward to the many contributions you will bring to St Aloysius College. We also welcome new staff commencing this term and thank them for their commitment to the mission and values of Mercy education.
Senior Years Campus Update
We are pleased to share that the development of our new Senior Years Campus, supported by the State Government of Victoria, continues to progress well. Over the break, significant milestones were achieved, including preparation for the basement slab. I thank our project managers, SEMZ, for sending the below progress photos:
Works scheduled across the term include:
- Basement slab pour targeted for late July 2025
- Framing for the basement to commence in early August 2025
- All ground floor footings to be poured by the end of July 2025
- Precast install to the basement targeted for late July/early August 2025
