Alliance Française Accolades
We are thrilled to announce that Sylvie Ottinger, Year 12 French Student has been awarded a prestigious accolade by the Alliance Française de Melbourne.
Both Sylvie Ottinger and Athiei Gor (also Year 12) received a perfect score for their Berthe Mouchette Oral Exam and progressed to the Finals. The students spoke for 8 minutes on the topics of general conversation as well as a discussion about an aspect of French culture and society that they had researched.
The Alliance Francaise has since announced the winners of the competition. Sylvie Ottinger has been placed with a ‘Mention spécial du Jury’.
We congratulate Sylvie and Athiei, and all our French students who scored highly in their Oral Competitions and Poetry Recitations this year.
