Catholic Education Week
As part of Catholic Education Week, St Aloysius College was proud to have five talented students selected for the MACS Creative Arts Exhibition.
This inspiring exhibition showcases the outstanding artistic talent of students from Catholic schools across the Archdiocese of Melbourne. The works on display demonstrated imagination, technical skill and thoughtful reflection, highlighting how young artists express story, spirituality, culture and hope through the arts.
- Congratulations to our exhibiting students:
- Violet Kennedy – Year 8
- Lila Chominsky – Year 10
- Bill Davies – Year 10
- Catherine Fu – Year 11
- Rachel Kau – Year 12 (2025)
Additional congratulations to Ms Rachel Kau for her Year 12 AME (2026) watercolour, Where Passion Drowns, which received a Highly Commended Archbishop of Melbourne Award for Religious Art. Rachel’s work reflected on society’s toxic expectations, tracing the shift from the idealised dreams of youth to the gradual loss of passion as individuals move toward maturity and conformity, while quietly suggesting a search for deeper purpose and calling beyond these pressures.
