Community Connect

Dear Parents and Carers,

I'm writing to introduce you to Community Connect – a parent committee here to help make connections and create opportunities among families and the school through social gatherings, fundraising and other activities. After COVID kept us away from campus for so long, we are all looking forward to participating in the school community and meeting more St Al's families. Any parent, guardian or former student is welcome to join the committee (we meet monthly), and from time to time we hope to draw on the various skills and connections of college parents and alumni to help with events.

If you'd like to join the committee or have ideas to offer (for fundraising, gatherings, social action activities, or just to get in touch), please reach out to me or the contact person for your child's year level. The 2023 parent liaisons are:

Current Opportunities to Assist
  1. We are looking for two to three parents to attend a Twilight Tour on April 5 or May 10 to answer questions from prospective parents about the school. If you would be available to attend, please let me know.
  2. If you have a contact who might be an interesting person to come and speak to the students about their career or topic of interest, please reach out. The students particularly love hearing from former students.
