From the Principal

Throughout 2025 we were guided by the College Theme, “Never be afraid of the unknown,” words from Catherine McAuley.

These words have been at the heart of our work and our growth as a community throughout the year. They have provided a steady reminder of courage and hope for the future.

We eagerly await celebrating the achievements of the Class of 2025 and sharing their success with our community, as they receive their results on Thursday, 11 December.

As we conclude the first week of December, with its mixture of endings and beginnings, this week, students in Year 8 -12 stepped into their 2026 Academic year, through the Step Ahead Program. This gentle transition helps prepare students by giving them an understanding of, and a foundation for, the year ahead.

Parents and carers are advised that important communications will be sent by members of the College Leadership Team both before the conclusion of this year and in January 2026. These updates will include key information and preparations for the 2026 Academic year.

December also invites us into a season of reflection, hope, and anticipation. The season of Advent calls us to look forward with renewed purpose and faith.

As we journey through Advent together, may we find moments of quiet hope, may peace dwell gently in our communities, and may the joy of Christmas fill our hearts with gratitude and renewed courage for the year ahead.

I wish every family a joyful Christmas, a safe and restful holiday, and a happy New Year. We look forward to another exciting and fulfilling year in 2026.
