From Year 10
A very warm welcome back to Term 3. Year 10 students commenced the term with a positive start. Term 3 is an important opportunity for students to continue to build strong habits and develop the skills needed for future success. This term students will participate in various workshop, seminars, 7 and 10 Mentor session to support their wellbeing in growth and learning.10 students are encouraged to continue building their resilience, maintain a growth mindset to achieve the goals they set for themselves this term.
On Tuesday 14 July, five Year 10 students and one Year 11 student proudly represented our school at the Dante Alighieri Poetry Competition Finals. They confidently recited their poems before a panel of judges, demonstrating the dedication, enthusiasm, and hard work they had invested in preparing for the event. Reaching the finals was a wonderful achievement, and each student embraced the opportunity to perform with confidence and pride. We are incredibly proud of the way they represented our school and the positive attitude they showed throughout the competition. To celebrate their achievement and commitment, the students enjoyed a well-deserved gelato together at the end of the day, a fitting reward for a memorable experience.
