Italian Excursion
Our Year 10, 11 and 12 Italian students enjoyed a rich day immersed in Italian language and culture. The programme began at the University of Melbourne, where students confidently recited poems for the Dante Alighieri Italian Poetry Competition, which they had been preparing for.
They then visited CO.AS.IT. and the Museo Italiano on Lygon Street for an engaging presentation on post-war Italian migration.Students also visited Sangaweech, the new panini bar on Lygon Street, before concluding the day with lunch in Carlton and, of course, a well-earned gelato. We are very proud of the way our students represented the school and look forward to the competition results In bocca al lupo!
