Reconciliation Week
Next week, our school will join communities across Australia in marking National Reconciliation Week. During this important time, students will learn about the history, cultures, and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and why reconciliation remains a vital national imperative. We will hold a whole‑school assembly to reflect, learn, and commit to strengthening respectful relationships.
In the coming years, our school will also begin developing and embedding a Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) to guide our ongoing commitment to truth‑telling, cultural understanding, and meaningful action. Student have already express interest in participating in this process.
