ACS Sport

The ACS winter season is in full swing this term. In some of our latest matches, both the Year 7 Netball A & B teams secured victories against St Michaels. The girls showcased their skill and determination, resulting in a fantastic win for both teams.

The Year 7 Boys tennis team achieved an impressive victory over St Michaels last week. The boys demonstrated exceptional skill and teamwork, dominating most games and securing an overall impressive win.

CGSAV Sport

AFL
On Friday 21^st July, students in Years 8-12 participated in the CGSAV AFL Tournament. In the weeks leading up to the tournament, the students trained very well, displaying commitment and passion. It was a brilliant day to play AFL, with the sun shining bright and early, motivating the students to succeed and have fun. The sense of camaraderie and team spirit was high all day, despite coming up against tough opponents from various schools. Both the Seniors (Years 10-12) and Juniors (Years 8-9) finished the day with one win on the board, proud to represent the College with a strong sense of pride and enthusiasm.

Volleyball
The CGSAV volleyball tournament was a great success on Thursday 3^rd August, with St Aloysius Intermediate B team and Senior A team both achieving impressive 4th place finishes. It was a day filled with good skill and teamwork, especially evident in how the girls enjoyed working together. Congratulations to all the students who competed on the day, as their efforts contributed to making it a memorable and enjoyable event for everyone involved! Well done!
