Sports Update

Year 7

The first few weeks of term have been filled with energy, enthusiasm, and outstanding effort as our Year 7 students trialled for their Summer Sport teams. It has been wonderful to see such a high level of participation, with students eagerly putting their best foot forward and embracing the opportunity to represent the school.

From skill drills to match simulations, the commitment shown at every trial session made selections extremely competitive. Most pleasing of all was the positive attitude displayed by our students.

We are pleased to announce that all teams are now finalised. Students were sent a Direct Message of the final summer teams and they have been posted in the Year 7 corridors.

We now look forward to the official start of the Year 7 Summer Sport season on Tuesday 3rd March. We are excited to see our teams in action and can’t wait to cheer them on as they begin their sporting journey for 2026.

Best of luck to all our Year 7 athletes — we know you will represent the school with pride!

Intermediate

The energy around the College has been building over the past few weeks as our Intermediate ACS students have been hard at work preparing for the upcoming Summer Sport season. Students have shown tremendous commitment and enthusiasm as they gear up for summer competition.

We are proud to have 26 Intermediate summer teams representing ACS this season. Training sessions throughout the opening weeks of term have highlighted not only skill and determination, but also teamwork, leadership, and school spirit.

The season officially kicked off on Thursday 27th February, and we look forward to seeing our teams take to the courts and fields with confidence and pride.

We wish all 26 teams the very best for a successful and rewarding season.

ACS Swimming – Training in Full Swing!

The pool has been buzzing with energy as our ACS swimmers continue their preparation for the upcoming ACS Swimming Tournament on Monday 30th March.

Students have shown fantastic commitment, attending early morning training sessions every Wednesday and Friday. Despite the early starts, the dedication and focus on pool deck has been outstanding. Swimmers have been working hard to refine their technique, build endurance, and sharpen race skills in readiness for competition day.

Most pleasing has been the team spirit developing within the squad, with swimmers encouraging one another and pushing each other to improve at every session.

With the tournament fast approaching, we are excited to see the results of this hard work come together in the pool. We wish all of our ACS swimmers the very best as they continue their preparations and look forward to a fantastic day of racing on March 30.
