Sports Update

ACS Sport

Term 2 has begun with great energy across the school, as students have returned ready to train and prepare for the upcoming Winter Season. It has been fantastic to see such strong commitment at training sessions, with teams building their skills and working hard together. A highlight of the past week was the House Athletics Carnival held on Wednesday 22nd April. The weather certainly delivered, with sunshine making for a great day out on the track and field. Students showed wonderful enthusiasm, participating in a wide range of events and demonstrating both determination and school spirit throughout the day.

The overall winning House will be announced at the next whole school assembly, along with the individual age champions. Congratulations to our St Al’s Gift winners: James Boxer (Year 10), who took out the Boys title, and Chloe Korras (Year 10), who won the Girls event. Both students displayed outstanding speed and effort in highly competitive races.

Well done to all students who participated and contributed to such a successful carnival!

House Athletics Carnival

A highlight of the past week was the House Athletics Carnival held on Wednesday 22nd April. The weather certainly delivered, with sunshine making for a great day out on the track and field. Students showed wonderful enthusiasm, participating in a wide range of events and demonstrating both determination and school spirit throughout the day.
