Sports Update

ACS Sport (7&8)

The ACS Winter season is in full swing, and we have had some amazing results from some of our teams. Our Year 7 Boys Soccer team have won their first two games of the season convincingly against Loyola College & Overnewton College. We won 9-1 & 6-0 respectively. Well done to Seb McDowell who has scored 8 goals! The Year 7 netball teams are also performing impressively against some very competitive teams, with the A, B and C teams all taking out the win this week.

Other highlights over the past fortnight include our Intermediate Basketball C & D teams who won impressively against Overnewton. C team won 79-9 and D team won 32-24.

We hope for some more success on the courts and field in the final couple of weeks of Term 2. Please note that there will be no games on Thursday, 15th June due to a student free day.

ACS Athletics Championships

Monday 22 May was the annual ACS Athletics Championships held at Lakeside Stadium. A perfect day for track & field events, our students were eager to test themselves and compete against quality opposition. All students were supportive of their teammates throughout the day which was one of the most pleasing aspects.
