Wellbeing Week
This week St Aloysius College came together to celebrate Wellbeing Week from Monday 8th to Friday 12th September. The program was designed to promote balance, positivity, and community spirit, and it was wonderful to see so many students engaging with the activities. The week began with a focus on Movement. Students enjoyed Yoga in the STEM Centre and Just Dance in the Hall, two activities that encouraged both relaxation and fun. These sessions set a positive tone for the rest of the week. Mid-week, the theme shifted to Mindfulness. Students had the opportunity to slow down and focus on calm, grounding practices. Many enjoyed Mindful Colouring while others joined for Books and Tea , creating a quiet space to recharge. For those seeking fresh air, the Mindful Walk in Royal Park proved to be a highlight, offering a chance to reflect and connect with nature. The week concluded with Connections. The STEM Centre hosted Boardgames, sparking plenty of laughter and teamwork, while the DTIC came alive with the sounds of Mario Kart, as students cheered each other on. These activities reminded us of the importance of fun, collaboration, and friendship.
As part of R U OK? Day, students were given the opportunity to order delicious donuts. More than just a sweet treat, this initiative encouraged students to pause, share a snack, and check in with their friends. It was a powerful reminder that small gestures and conversations can make a big difference in supporting one another. Wellbeing Week 2025 was truly a success, highlighting the importance of movement, mindfulness, and connection in our daily lives. Thank you to all students and staff who participated and contributed to such a positive and uplifting week.
