Anzac Day is an important day in Australian contemporary life. The 25 April marks an important and solemn occasion. The day honours all Australian personnel who have served in active conflicts, as well as peacekeeping and humanitarian operations.

Japan Study Tour
The 2026 Japan Study Tour was a truly phenomenal experience. 13 students across years 9-11 and three staff members travelled to Japan for 2 weeks from the first of April until the 13th of April.
Winning the Tan

Over the Easter break our Head Sports Coach Declan Gall headed to the Stawell Gift to compete in Australia's oldest and most prestigious professional footrace.
Sports Update
Term 2 has begun with great energy across the school, as students have returned ready to train and prepare for the upcoming Winter Season.
From Year 7
It has been a positive and purposeful start to Term 2 for our Year 7 cohort. Students have returned from the break refreshed, and it has been wonderful to reconnect and hear about their holiday experiences.
From Year 8
We warmly welcome our Year 8 students and families back to the St Aloysius College community for Term 2. We hope the break provided an opportunity to rest and recharge, and that students return ready to embrace the opportunities and challenges of the term ahead.
From Year 9
After an extended school holidays to end Term 1, the start of Term 2 was a busy one for the Year 9 students as the school launched into the Athletics carnival on the second day back.
From Year 10
It has been a busy period for our Year 10s who have engaged in the House Athletics Carnival and the excursion to the Melbourne Holocaust Museum.
From the Senior Years
As Term 2 began this week, I commend the Senior VCE students in Year 11 and 12 for their excellent attendance and participation at the College House Athletics carnival on Wednesday 22 April.
