A warm farewell to Term Three

From the Deputy Principal

From what I have read about Catherine McAuley, when she began her ministry of educating young girls, there was a clear understanding that the purpose of education was more than developing skills and knowledge.

Class of 1986 and 1996

Alumni Reunions

On the 21st August, we were delighted to welcome back members of our 1986 and 1996 alumni cohorts for a special reunion celebrating 30 and 40 years since they were students at the College.

Mercy in Action

Cambodia Immersion Trip

On the 23rd August, my classmate Heidi Trollope, teacher Lauren Marquet, and I, along with eighteen other students and teachers from fellow mercy schools, the Academy of Mary Immaculate and Our Lady of Mercy, flew to Cambodia on an Immersion trip.

Celebrating Unity

Father's Day Breakfast

On Friday, 4th September, the College Community gathered for the annual Father’s Day Breakfast, celebrating the fathers, carers and father-figures who are such an important part of the St Aloysius College community.

JTLAV

Japanese Speech Competition

Three of our students – Catherine Fu (Year 11), Holly Trang (Year 10), and Raphael Roch (Year 8) – recently had the wonderful opportunity to participate in the annual Japanese Speech Competition, representing our school and showcasing their Japanese language skills.

ACS Grand Finals

Sports Update

There was a buzz around school as ACS Grand Final week approached. With eight teams competing, hope was in the air to bring back trophies to St Aloysius.

Working Together for a Strong Finish

Form Year 7

Our Year 7 students have achieved so much this year. They have navigated the transition to secondary school, formed new friendships, developed greater independence and contributed enthusiastically to the academic and social life of St Aloysius College.

Opportunities abound

From Year 9

As we come to the end of Term 3, it is a good opportunity for our Year 9 students to reflect on what has been another busy term. Students have continued to develop their independence and take on more responsibility for their learning and behaviour.

Reflection Day

From Year 10

It has been a very busy time for our Year 10 students in the past two weeks.

A standout fortnight

From the Senior Years

In the past fortnight, Year 12 students welcomed Year 12 past student and former College co-captain and Old Aloysian Association (OAA) member Bethany Pearce (Class of 2021) to the College.
