Community Updates
On Thursday, 15th September we welcomed the classes of 2010, 2011 and 2012 back to the College for their combined 10 Year Reunion.
From Year 7
Mercy day is a special day for everyone in our community. It is a time to come together to share our Mercy Values. A day to think about those less fortunate than us and actually do something to make a difference in their lives.
From Year 8
It is hard to believe that another School term has ended. This has been an exciting yet long 10 weeks. The students are ready to enjoy some quality time with their families and friends.
From Year 9
These past two weeks have been amazing! What a wonderful way to finish the term with the three camps and Mercy Day. I would like to congratulate all the Year 9 students on their participation in Mercy Day. The Year 9 students were allocated Guessing Games as their fundraiser theme.
From Year 10
Year 10 fully embraced the spirit of Mercy Day and raised almost $300. It was great to see everyone getting so involved, from assisting at the slushie and spider stall, taking photographs, assisting with craft activities, donating money, or giving money to another year level’s activity.
From Year 11
This cycle is the last of term 3. By now, students have completed most of Unit 2, or most of their VCAL projects. Transition to Year 12 is indeed a few weeks in Term 4, right after Unit 2 examinations.
From Year 12
As Term 3 draws to an end, Year 12s have been reflecting on their time here at the College and are preparing for their final weeks. During our Religious Education classes, they have been organising their graduation evening liturgy and also organising thank you notes for all the staff at the College.
