This week, as a nation, we commemorated National Reconciliation Week.

High School Musical On Stage

From the Deputy Principal

With shows already sold out, additional seating was created to support the demand. Clearly, the reputation of our talented students is well appreciated in our community.

Now More Than Ever

National Reconciliation Week

Reconciliation is crucial for fostering understanding and healing between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians. It involves recognising and respecting the unique cultures and histories of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Curriculum Spotlight

Mercy in Action

As a Catholic school formed within the charism of Catherine McAuley and the Sisters of Mercy, each student is inspired to live out our Mercy Education Values of service, courage, hospitality, justice, respect, and compassion.

Flu Season and Winter Sports

From the Health Centre

As we head into the winter sports season, it's important to be aware of the increased risk of concussion or head injury.

What makes a place great?

From Year 7

What makes a city great? Hint: It isn’t just the pizza. In Humanities, Year 7s have been studying the geographical concept of liveability.

Health and Physical Education

From Year 8

Health and Physical Education at St Aloysius in 2024 has undergone a major facelift. The students have been lucky enough to travel to and use the high-class facilities at the State Netball Hockey Centre in Parkville alongside national teams like the Melbourne Vixens and the Melbourne Boomers.

Ad Altiora Award

From Year 9

The last two weeks have been a busy time for Year 9 students as they focus on preparing and continuing with their study routines.

Exam Preparation and Careers Advice

From Year 10

The last two weeks have been a very busy time for our Year 10 students due to subject selection and exam preparation.

Pursuing Passions

From the Senior Years

This involvement in the College co-curricular and enrichment program is an important aspect to school connectedness and is an important factor in student experience.
