From the Principal
This week, we gathered as a community to farewell the graduating Class of 2025, a group of young people who have grown in confidence throughout their years at St Aloysius College.
Our Farewell Assembly on Monday was a moving celebration of their journey, filled with reflection and hope for the future. As we looked back, we were reminded that their first year of secondary schooling began during the challenges of COVID, a time that demanded resilience, adaptability, and courage. Those early experiences shaped their character and fostered a deep sense of empathy and determination that has remained with them throughout their years at the College.
On Thursday evening, parents, carers and staff came together for the Graduation Mass and Valedictory Dinner. These occasions offered a fitting opportunity to give thanks for the gift of education, for the guidance of families and staff, and for the faith and Mercy values that have guided our students through their years at the College.
Those Year 12 students who now turn their focus to their final VCE examinations, we wish them every success. May they approach these final weeks with calm, and confidence and to those who are not sitting exams, we wish them all the best in their next journey filled with happiness and fulfilment.
A blessing for the class of 2025:
May the Lord bless you and watch over you.
May the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you.
May the Lord look kindly on you and give you peace.
