Outstanding Effort

Sport Update

ACS Sport

As Term 3 draws to a close, we celebrate a remarkable ACS Winter Season. Our students demonstrated outstanding commitment, sportsmanship, and teamwork across a wide range of sports.

Even as we pause for a well-deserved break, our students have already resumed training for the ACS Summer Season, preparing for competitions kicking off in Term 4.

Students, coaches, and parents are encouraged to keep building on the momentum—continuing skill development, teamwork, and school spirit. We look forward to seeing familiar faces and fresh talents shine again on the sporting fields next term!

CGSAV Soccer

On Thursday, 28 August, the St Aloysius College Senior girls delivered a stellar performance at the CGSAV Soccer Tournament held at the Darebin International Sports Centre. We conceded just two goals all day, confidently securing 2nd place and a hard-earned spot in the Grand Final.

The Grand Final against Catholic Ladies College was a tightly contested showdown, ending regulation time in a 1–1 draw. As the tension escalated in extra time, Chloe Korras rose to the occasion, scoring both decisive goals—including a breathtaking match-winner—to secure a dramatic 2–1 victory! Congratulations to all the students for their efforts on the day!

Rowing

St Aloysius has a longstanding partnership with Essendon Rowing Club and we invite students to join the ERC’s Learn 2 Row Program over the Term 3 School Holidays
