Our ACS teams have been working hard in preparation for the upcoming Winter Season. The season began this week and it was great to see all the hard training paying off for our teams!

ACS Athletics

Our ACS Athletics Squad have been working tremendously hard on Wednesday & Friday mornings in preparation for the upcoming Championships which will be held on Monday 20th May 10am-5pm at Lakeside Stadium. Our students have been split into groups to focus on the key skills of the specific events. Our sprinters have been working closely with Coach Declan on relay changes. We wish all of our students the best for the upcoming Championships!

ACS Volleyball Spotlight

At St Aloysius, the ACS Volleyball program for boys consists of two teams at the Year 7 level and one intermediate team. The program not only provides opportunities for skill development but also cultivates a passion for the sport among students.

The Year 7 Volleyball teams serve as the foundation of the program, introducing young athletes to the fundamentals of the sport and igniting their enthusiasm for competition. Under the guidance of dedicated coaches Ms Daunt & Jak Wilson, these teams embark on a journey of discovery, honing their skills and learning the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship both on and off the court.

Our Intermediate teams have been working hard under the guidance of Declan Gall and are eager to get stuck into the season.

We look forward to the upcoming ACS Volleyball season and wish all our teams the best of luck!

ACS Netball Spotlight

As the anticipation builds and excitement mounts, the upcoming ACS Netball season promises to be nothing short of exhilarating. Behind the scenes, our teams have been diligently preparing, honing their skills and working on team tactics.

With three Year 7 teams poised to take the court this season, the energy is palpable. Coaches Ms Li, Tahlia Watson & Sophia Andreula have been working tirelessly to prepare them for the upcoming season.

At the Intermediate level, we have four teams with a blend of Year 8 & 9 girls. Coaches for the Intermediate teams are Ms Vines, Jodie Laube, Chloe Collin & Chelsea Stewart.

We look forward to watching our netball teams progress throughout the season and hope for many victories!

ACS Football Spotlight

This is the first ever ACS Girls Football team assembled in the competition. The Intermediate Girls Football Team has emerged as a beacon of enthusiasm and potential in the College's ACS competition. The team’s dedication under the guidance of Coach Emma Turner promises an exciting journey ahead.

With a keen focus on skill development and teamwork, Coach Turner instills in her players not only the fundamental aspects of footy but also the values of perseverance and teamwork.

With each training session, they will grow stronger, more cohesive, and more determined to hopefully taste some success this term.
