ACS Sport (Years 7-9)

There are only two weeks left of the ACS Winter Season. We look forward to seeing some of our teams finish off the season well and to hopefully end up in Grand Final contention!

At Year 7, it’s our Soccer Boys A & B teams who are sitting second on the ladder and look primed to play St Leonard’s in the Grand Final. The boys have been working hard under the guidance of coaches, Mr Crowle and Declan, and have shown immense improvement across the course of the season.

At the Intermediate level, it’s our Boys Soccer A team who are also sitting second on the ladder and are looking for redemption after their Grand Final loss last year as Year 7s.

CGSAV Futsal

It was an exciting day for both the Intermediate and Senior Futsal teams at CGSAV tournament. The Seniors had a solid win against Marian College, a draw against Kilbreda and a couple of tough close losses. The Intermediate team dominated their pool which saw them play against Killester in the Grand Finals. With zero goals on the scoreboard after full time, the girls stepped onto the court with 110% effort to beat Killester in a Golden Point Overtime. What an exhilarating end to the day! Congratulations to Adelle who was named MVP of the Intermediate competition, and well done to Imogen and Abbey for their leadership and positive influence throughout the day.
