Cross Country

Last Friday, a 140-strong St Aloysius team took to Bundoora Park for this year’s ACS Cross Country. After a consistent year of Run Club, the team performed remarkably well, coming away with our biggest medal haul ever. Elliot Savage took out the Year 8 Boys race, while five athletes claimed silver medals: William Trethowan (Year 7), Abigail Rees (Year 8), William Dearness (Year 10), Dulcie Beaumont (Year 10) and Lila Casey (Year 12). Overall, the school finished 4th — our best result ever. Well done to everyone who competed and represented the College!

Lexie Williams
Recently, I was given an incredible opportunity to travel to the USA with a team of likeminded athletes to play lacrosse. Throughout this experience I have created life long friendships from girls across the country and learnt new things about the game I love. This experience has continued to drive me to achieve my goals and work hard in doing so.

Neveah Presti
Nevaeh and her trio competed in Sydney Olympic park at the 2026 Australian Championships. Her trio won the Overall Level 9 title and were the highest scoring group in the National levels program.

Enzo Bonato
Enzo competed at the Kurt de Freeze Ice Hockey tournament. Representing Victoria, the team went undefeated winning the tournament.
"It is always a good experience getting to play States. I played pretty good despite playing against older players and was glad we won."
