Year 8 and 9 Trivia Night
Much fun was had by all at the Community Connect Year 8 and 9 trivia night on August 18. We had fabulous hosts (Alex and Zac) covering trivia questions from biology to Barbie to Bluey, so there was something for the adults, the teens, and even the younger siblings. The winning table (a mix of adults and kids) were delighted to take home the "alcohol and treats" hamper with the tied second place tables battling it out with a dance-off to win the second prize treats hamper. Everyone enjoyed the activities, pizzas and drinks and there was a warm and welcoming vibe and constant laughter throughout the night.
Warmest thanks to all the helpers, particularly the Community Connect members who organised the event, venue, prizes and catering and the students who sold raffle tickets, helping to raise some funds for our school. Special thanks to school parent Alex Walker who in addition to hosting the night, donated a term of kids theatre classes at House of Muchness in Brunswick as one of the raffle prizes.
