Remembrance Day, 11th November

From the Principal

As a community today we commemorated Remembrance Day. Tomorrow, Saturday 11th November, we will remember all those who gave the ultimate sacrifice in wars past and present, and those currently serving.

Sports Update

The last fortnight has seen some mixed results across ACS Sport. The Year 7 Girls Soccer team continues to impress with a 4-0 victory over St Leonard’s. Chloe Korras, Dominique Salama & Poppy Calkoen continue to be a dominant force!

From Community Connect

End of Year Celebration

St Aloysius Community Connect would like to invite family and friends from all year levels to a picnic in the park to celebrate the end of the year and connect with others in the school community.

Remembrance Day Acknowledgement

Catholic Mission and Mercy Ethos

In recognising and commemorating Remembrance Day, students gathered in pastoral classes or Year levels on Friday 10th of November to hold a reflective liturgy together.

Transition Programs

From Year 7

On Thursday and Friday this week we had the pleasure of taking a few of our Year 7 students to their former primary schools as ambassadors of St Aloysius College.

From Year 8

The extended four-day weekend has afforded the Year 8 students a valuable opportunity to unwind, recharge, and dedicate time to catching up on assessment tasks, all in preparation for their upcoming exams scheduled for Monday, November 13th, and Tuesday, November 14th.

From Year 9

What an exciting couple of weeks the Year 9 students have had.

From Year 10

Year 10 students have been very busy in the past fortnight preparing for their exams and completing all the assessment to conclude Semester 2.

From Year 11

The Year 11 Examinations have concluded this week and have run smoothly for all students. It is a credit to the year level that they have completed the exams with focus, calm and positivity that they have done their best.
