From the Principal

This year, the Melbourne Cup was run on the first of November, and in Melbourne of course it is a public holiday; November 1st is also a very special day in the life of the Church – All Saints’ Day – and in many Catholic countries around the globe it too is a public holiday.

Sport

Congratulations to our Volleyball A team who secured their first win of the season against Loyola on the 11th of October! They won 3 sets to 2. The girls are starting to see what they are capable of with hard work and regular training.

From Year 7

When people reflect on their time in secondary school it is often the special events that come to mind. Sports days, feast days and camps. Our 7 group embraced their camp experience and used every second to connect, laugh and challenge themselves and their peers.

From Year 8

The last two weeks in Year 8 have flown by so quickly, the extra-long weekend has allowed students to do some extra study for the Year 8 exams starting on Monday.

From Year 9

Week five marks the middle of term and the awaited Melbourne Cup Weekend has come and gone. I wish the weather could have been a little more on the sunny side. I hope students were able to either have a nice rest or catch up with their studies.

From Year 10

Year 10 have been busy either finishing final assessment tasks or preparing for the End of Year Examinations. As this is the second examination period this year, students can reflect on their earlier experience and include revision practises that they know work for them.

From Year 11
